Vietnamese Library – Opportunities and challenges

The first topic of the seminar, held on November 16, 2006 in Hanoi, on the occasion of 45^th Anniversary of Faculty of Library and Information - Culture University of Hanoi, was addressed to the hot issues of Vietnamese Library today.

Standing in front of strong competition with other audiovisual channels, Vietnamese Library must to upgrade it’s own services as well as technology to satisfy the increasing requirements from the new generation of readers in 21^st century. 

Participating to this even as a official sponsor, VBEST has introduced a range of the products that can assist the libraries and information organizations to improve the reader and literature management facilities. The attendees highly appreciated the presentation and the commitment from the VBEST to be invoked in the modernization process of Vietnamese Library  by it’s experience and equipments.
