EVOLIS –
New year's greeting
2005 was another eventful and successful year for Evolis and our
partners.
Despite the absence of a new product launch last year, we
remained more innovative and productive than ever with more than
32,000 printers manufactured so far and over 150 printer models
available. We commend our teams and you, our partners, for such
remarkable performance in only six years of existence!
This tremendous energy has enabled us, with your help, to
succeed in penetrating new markets and winning new
opportunities. Opportunities such as the Korean banking project
won with our partner Samtech I&C, which represents the largest
worldwide deal in this industry for instant issuance of banking
cards.
These accomplishments and others foreshadow an excellent 2006,
full of projects to come. This year, we’ll continue to innovate
not only in the areas of technology and manufacturing, but also
price, in order to continually win new business together and
live true to our new company motto: “winnovation at work”.

Over the last 20 years, the Cartes Exhibition in Paris has
become a leading international event for the smart card industry
with more than 15,000 visitors from 120 countries, 450
exhibitors and 1,500 delegates. We continued our participation
in this key industry event on multiple fronts, both as an
exhibitor and event partner.
Evolis was an Official Partner of the exhibition,
providing 40 Evolis printers used to personalize about 17,000
access badges at the entrance of the exhibition.
